Bio
Bishop Johnnie Edwards, Pastor
Bishop Johnnie Edwards is the son of the Late Dist. Elder Johnnie Edwards and Evang. Faye Edwards, hailing from Reynoldsburg, OH. He comes from a long line of pastors and preachers and accepted his calling into the ministry at the young age of 17. Bishop Edwards has dedicated himself to working with At-Risk Youth of our community. He has served as the District Youth President for the Pacific Northwest District Council and is currently serving as a Bishop at Abundant Harvest Ministries International in Columbus, Indiana.
Bishop Edwards has also planted churches in Osceola, Arkansas, and Togo, West Africa. He is happily married to Lady Christy Edwards, and together they have a blended family of 6 children: Christopher, Josiah, Jannai, Abby, Emma, and Jordin.
Bishop Edwards is an IT Manager for a Manufacturing Firm in Columbus and has received a total of three college degrees. In May 2020, he graduated with an Associate Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In 2022, he received a second Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Global Security. Bishop Edwards is currently pursuing his Master’s in Public Administration, which he will complete in 2024.
Additionally, Bishop Edwards serves as the President of the Columbus / Bartholomew Branch NAACP.
The scripture that helps him every day is
Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”
Bishop Edwards’s most incredible mission in life was to serve God with all his heart and soul while being the best husband, father, and man of God he could be.
